Hi! We're Abigail & Ryan

We're the co-founders of WPDA Studios. And we're married! Don't worry, this actually works really well. 

Currently based in the woods of Connecticut after a decade in New York City, we regularly travel across the country and overseas for shoots of all sizes. From writing to filming to editing, from commercials to feature films -- we do it all! 

There's a long history of filmmaking collaboration here. We've directed many short films that have played at SXSW, Fantastic Fest, LA Film Fest, Woodstock Film Festival, and Fantasy Film Fest. Our first ever directing collaboration, CLUB POLICY, starring Jason Selvig (BLOW UP MY LIFE) and Meredith Hagner (SEARCH PARTY, PALM SPRINGS) was a Vimeo Staff Pick! 

Commercial clients over the years have included national brands like Budweiser, Skittles, Audible, Universal, General Mills, Spotify, and Vogue.

We were selected as Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film” in 2016, have two Gold Cannes Young Director Awards, shortlisted for the D&AD Next Director Award and won a prestigious Graphite Pencil. We've also received multiple Vimeo Staff Picks for our solo and collaborative work including MONTANA, GA, A FEW ACTIVITIES and NIGHT STALKER.
